Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan recently became a pet parent to an adorable puppy. Welcoming the new member of his family the Kalank star named him Joey. The name seems to possess been inspired by the favored American sitcom, Friends. one among the favored characters on the show is known as Joey. On the occasion of Father’s Day on June 20, Varun took to Instagram to share adorable photos with Joey.
Sharing a series of images Varun captioned them as “My beautiful boy JOEY (sic).”

The post garnered immense love from fans and friends. Zoya Akhtar dropped an awestruck emoji. Varun’s Bhediya co-star Kriti Sanon asked when could she bring her Phoebe to satisfy Varun Joey. “Hahaha.. wen should i buy my “Phoebe” to satisfy him…Friends Reunion (sic),” wrote the actress.
