Raksha Bandhan shoot begins, Akshay Kumar dedicates it to his sister Alka
Superstar Akshay Kumar has begun shooting for his next Raksha Bandhan. The movie marks second collaboration between him and Aanand L Rai after Atrangi Re. Akshay soon took to his social media account and shared an image from the sets here. He also dedicated the movie to his sister Alka.
Sharing the image from Raksha Bandhan sets Akshay Kumar captioned it with these words: “Growing up my sister, Alka was my first friend. it had been the foremost effortless friendship. Aanand L Rai’s Raksha Bandhan may be a dedication to her and a celebration of that special bond. Day one among the shoot today, need your love and best wishes.”

Raksha Bandhan has Bhumi Pednekar playing the feminine lead. The actors have previously worked together within the 2017 hit flick Toilet: Ek Prem Katha The movie also features Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb, Smrithi Srikanth playing the role of Akshay Kumar’s sisters.
Raksha Bandhah revolves round the bond between brothers and sisters. The movie is backed by Colour Yellow Production in association with Cape of excellent Films. On the work front, Akshay Kumar will soon be seen in Bell Bottom. He also has Sooryavanshi, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, and Atrangi Re. in his kitty.
