Reportedly, Varun Dhawan is currently in talks with 'Ek Villian' director Mohit Suri for a action packed romance .
Varun Dhawan recently bound up the shooting of his upcoming horror-comedy, ‘Bhediya’ which also stars Kriti Sanon. The movie will mark Kriti’s second collaboration with Varun after ‘Dilwale.’ Now, reportedly the ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ actor is in talks with ‘Ek Villian’ director Mohit Suri for an action-packed romance .
According to the report in Pinkvilla, “Varun has been a lover of Mohit’s work and he has liked the essential premise of the film. It’s high on action with an intense romance within the backdrop, an area that Varun has not explored till date. With the pandemic uncertainty, Varun is being cautious with the themes he's green lighting and has asked Mohit to develop the thought into a full bound script.”
Further, the report states that if things go well, this is able to be Mohit’s next directorial after ‘Ek Villain Returns.’ “While timelines aren't in situ , it’s being planned as something which will potentially start next year. Mohit will dive into the writing process once he wraps up Ek Villain Returns,” said the source.
On the work front, Dhawan also has Sajid Nadiadwala’s action thriller, ‘Sanki’ helmed by Kesari director Anurag Singh. Next, the actor will begin work on ‘Ekkis’, a biographical war film directed by Raghavan and produced by Vijan, supported the lifetime of officer Arun Khetarpa.
