Pakistani superstar and heartthrob of millions, actor Fawad Khan has been faraway from TV screens for quite while now. The actor’s fans and followers are waiting anxiously to catch a glimpse of their favorite star any time soon.
It won’t be wrong to mention that the wait is finally over because the Humsafar famed star might just be preparing for his Hollywood debut!
After making waves across the border in India, the acclaimed actor is reportedly getting ready to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe by joining the cast of Disney’s upcoming series, Ms. Marvel.
Entertainment journalist Haroon Rashid took to Twitter to announce the large news. He tweeted that the Kapoor & Sons star could be joining two other Pakistani stars, Samina Ahmed and Nimra Bucha for the superhero series.
The Disney+ series are going to be led by Pakistani-Canadian actor Iman Vellani, who will essay the role of Ms. Marvel aka Kamala Khan. Hollywood superstar Brie Larson also will be a part of the the series as she reprises her role as Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel.
The series are going to be helmed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Meera Menon, Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi.
Ms. Marvel focuses on Kamala Khan (a Pakistani-Canadian actor Iman Vellani), a Pakistani-American teen based in New Jersey. The superhero first appeared in 2014 as Marvel Comics’ first Muslim character to star in her own comic series, and she or he will become Marvel Studios’ first onscreen Muslim hero.
