After releasing Radhe: Your favorite Bhai on the OTT platform as pay-per-view format, Salman Khan reacts to the illegal watching of the film
Salman Khan's film Radhe: Your favorite Bhai released on OTT platform ZEE5 on May 13. Within a couple of hours of its release, Radhe was reportedly leaked on the web . The film is now streaming "illegally" on pirated websites. On Saturday, Salman shared a press release to deal with the difficulty on social media. In his statement, he called illegal streaming of Radhe on pirated websites, a "serious crime". He wrote, "We offered you to observe our film Radhe at an inexpensive price of INR 249 per view. Inspite of that pirated sites are streaming Radhe illegally which may be a serious crime."
SK also shared a video on his Instagram handle, wherein he talks about piracy. within the video, he says, “Ek film banane mein bahot log bahot mehnat karte hain. Aur humein bahot dukh hota hai jab kuch log piracy karke ye film dekhte hain. Aap sabse ek commitment maangta hoon ye film enjoy karein sahi platform pe. Toh is Eid hoga audience ka commitment. no piracy in entertainment (Many people exerting while making a movie and that i feel very sad when some people resort to piracy to observe it. i might invite a commitment from all of you that you simply enjoy films on the proper platform. This Eid are going to be about the audience’s commitment — no piracy in entertainment).”
Radhe is directed by Prabhu Deva. aside from Salman Khan, the movie features Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda in key roles. within the film, Salman Khan plays the role of an undercover policeman , Radhe. Disha is cast as Diya Abhyankar, Radhe's love interest. Jackie Shroff plays ACP Avinash Abhyankar and Diya's elder brother. Randeep is cast as Rana, a pusher .
Radhe was initially scheduled to be released in 2020 but it had been delayed thanks to the coronavirus pandemic some time past . Radhe released on OTT in India and is running in theatres overseas.
