COVID-19 Spike: Akshay Kumar Donates Rs. 1 Crore To Gautam Gambhir’s NGO

The second wave of pandemic Corornavirus outspread in India has seen a rapid surge over the previous couple of weeks. the state is handling oxygen also as vaccine crises because the highest single-day rise crosses the mark of three .4 lakh count. India is currently at the second position after the US to possess been worst hit by the pandemic. Bollywood star, Akshay Kumar has once more made donations towards India’s fight against the COVID-19 virus. He made the contribution towards cricketer Gautam Gambhir’s Delhi-NGO.

Thanking Akshay Kumar for his great contribution, Gautam Gambhir took to his official Twitter handle and penned, “Every help during this gloom comes as a ray of hope. Thanks tons , Akshay Kumar for committing ₹ 1 crore to Gautam Gambhir Foundation for food, meds, and oxygen for the needy! God bless.”
In reply to the cricketer, Kumar wrote, “These are really tough times, Gautam Gambhir. Glad I could help. Wish we all get out of this crisis soon. Stay Safe.”

This is not the primary time Akshay Kumar has donated towards COVID-19 aid. Last year too he had pledged to contribute Rs. 25 crores from his savings towards PM-CARES Fund to strengthen the disaster management mission.
Bollywood celebs like Varun Dhawan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Leela Bhansali including Akshay Kumar have tested positive for COVID-19. Twinkle Khanna recently revealed about hubby, Kumar returning home and she or he also revealed that each one is well now.
