When the ban thanks to COVID-19 on theatres was lifted, the Punjabi movie industry found it as a golden chance to finally come up with their projects they’d prepared for quite a year. Many big titles were announced and lots of were even released. 2 of the most important films that were announced to be releasing this year were Chal Mera Putt 3 and Moosa Jatt.
Chal Mera Putt 2 was finally released in theatres worldwide on 27 August, 2021. It had suffered an enormous loss of business during its first worldwide theatrical release in 2020, before the worldwide pandemic of COVID-19 started within the country. But it had been finally re-released after quite a year and visited shatter records.
At the top of the movie’s theatrical premier, the manufacturers announced the news Punjabi cinema fans were expecting . The second installment of the movie series was released after such an enormous gap that the team had even shot the third installment. So it had been useless wasting anymore time and eventually Chal Mera Putt 3 was announced to be releasing on 1 October.
This made the movie clash with another big title releasing this year. Sidhu Moosewala, who is undoubtedly one among the most important superstars the Punjabi industry has ever witnessed, prepared for his acting debut with the movie ‘Moosa Jatt’, set to release on 1 October, an equivalent date as Chal Mera Putt 3.
