Prince William and Harry are ready to return together to unveil their mother Princess Diana's statue today (Thursday), on what would are her 60th birthday. 

The estranged brothers are expected to possess a 'dignified reunion' once they meet one another at the Kensington Palace where they lived with their mother as young boys.

The event might be “sad and a touch strained,” said a royal source, adding that they expect the brothers to be dignified for the sake of their mother. “The boys are going to be fine,” the source said.

Diana’s siblings- two sisters and a brother will attend whereas, Charles and Queen Elizabeth won't .

The ceremony are going to be taken place during a stripped-back thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. Reportedly, once Lady Di’s statue is unveiled, the general public are going to be ready to see it, as Kensington Palace are hospitable visitors. there'll be a charge for tours of the general public areas of the palace itself.

Prince Harry, who resides within the us together with his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor arrived within the UK last week so as to finish his quarantine before Thursday’s event. He also made a surprise appearance at a London for a charity event.

The project was announced in 2017, William, and Harry stated that they hoped it might help visitors reflect on their mother’s “life and her legacy”.

William and Harry’s relationship was strained in 2019, within the wake of Harry and Meghan stepping faraway from royal duties.
