Types of passport:

Full passports:

Passport- the foremost common sort of a passport, issued to individual citizens and other nationals.

Steps to use for a passport:

1 Register through the Passport Seva Online Portal. (Click on the “Register Now” link on the house           Page).

2 Login to the Passport Seva Online Portal with the registered Login Id.

3 Click the “Apply for Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport” link.

4 Fill within the required details within the form and submit.

5 Click the “Pay and Schedule Appointment” link on the “View Saved/Submitted Applications” screen     to schedule a meeting .

6 Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments in the least PSK/POPSK/PO.

7 Online Payment are often made using anybody of the subsequent modes:

 -Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard and Visa)

 -Internet Banking (State Bank of India (SBI) Associate Banks and Other Banks)

 -SBI Bank Challan

8 Click the “Print Application Receipt” link to print the appliance receipt containing the appliance             Reference 

  Number (ARN)/Appointment Number.

  Note: Carrying printout of Application Receipt is not any longer required. An SMS together with your    appointment details is 

 also accepted as proof of appointment during your visit to Passport Office.

9 Visit the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/Regional Passport Office (RPO) where a meeting has been 

   booked, along side original documents.


In case you would like to Cancel or Reschedule a Visit, here’s what you'll do:

If Applicants with confirmed appointments are unable to go to the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or a Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) thanks to some reason, they're advised to reschedule/cancel their appointments. Appointment rescheduling/cancellation for an application are allowed up to 3 times only within a year of the primary appointment date.
