After Lucky Ali, Mukesh Khanna, Paresh Rawal becomes the newest celebrity to fall prey to a death hoax. On Friday, a tweet on social media was doing viral that stated that the Hera Pheri actor is not any more. Soon after, Paresh Rawal quashed the fake news with a witty tweet.

The tweet claimed that the Welcome actor had died on Friday morning at 7 am. Reacting to the news, the actor shared a screenshot of the death-hoax post and stated: “…Sorry for the misunderstanding as I slept past 7am…”

This isn't the primary time that a star has come to the fore to bust the false rumours about their death. Earlier in the week , TV actor Mukesh Khanna had also quashed the false rumours about his death with a social media post. The Shaktimaan actor had shared a video of himself to refute his death rumours. "I am perfectly alright," Mukesh Khanna had said within the video.

On the work front, Paresh Rawal was last seen in Coolie No 1 with Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan. The actor is about to seem in Hungama 2, a comedy film by Priyadarshan having an ensemble cast headlined by him, Shilpa Shetty, Meezaan Jaffrey and Pranitha Subhash.

Paresh Rawal is one among the senior members of the film fraternity. He has worked in several hit films during his career. a number of his credits include Hungama, Hera Pheri, OMG: Oh My God, Welcome and Sanju. He was appointed because the chief of the National School of Drama in September last year.
