The much-awaited teaser of Mohanlal-starrer Drishyam 2 is out. The sequel of the hit 2013 thriller Drishyam is all about Mohanlal as Georgekutty trying to save lots of his family from conviction once more . Drishyam also features Meena, Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil. it's ready to premiere on Amazon Prime Today.

The teaser begins with Mohanlal as Georgekutty telling a cop that he believes the new police headquarters will protect his family. But it looks like the past is ready to rise from the grave and haunt Georgekutty and his family within the sequel. But Georgekutty isn't the one to require things lying down, he will once more give his all to save lots of family.

Jeetu Joseph, who wrote and directed Drishyam, has helmed Drishyam 2.

Drishyam had emerged because the highest-grossing Malayalam cinema of 2013. It had garnered quite Rs 50 crore box office collection worldwide. The film revolved round the efforts of a father, who tries to cover-up the murder committed by his family.

It was remade in many other languages, including Chinese (Sheep Without a Shepherd). In Hindi, we had Ajay Devgn playing Mohanlal’s role.
