Bollywood heartthrob, Sidharth Malhotra treated his fans with the announced his new project, titled, ‘Mission Majnu’. South actress, Rashmika Mandanna to mark her Bollywood debut with this film. The plot of the film is about round the lifetime of a RAW agent.

‘Mission Majnu’ is being helmed by Shantanu Bagchi and it's being co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala and Garima Mehta. Announcing the project, Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna shared the primary look poster of the film on Instagram. The story of the film is about within the 1970s and it's “inspired by real events”. Reportedly, it might follow the story of India’s “deadliest operation undertaken by its intelligence behind enemy lines” i.e. in Pakistan. The star cast would kick-start the shootings from February next year.
