Meet Arya Rajendran The New Mayor of Kerala's Capital City Thiruvananthapuram
21-year-old Arya Rajendran is ready to be subsequent Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram. Arya has successfully contested the recent civic polls in Kerala her party, CPI(M), has won a majority within the corporation. Anavoor Nagappan, the district secretary of the CPI(M) in Thiruvananthapuram, finally made it official that the Arya are going to be subsequent mayor of Kerala’s capital city. This makes her the youngest Mayor within the state. Superstar Mohanlal Congratulated the youngster on her win.
Not many know that this is often also the primary time Rajendran could exercise her choose the local body elections thanks to her age.
Arya Rajendran may be a BSc Maths second-year student at the All Saints College, had won from the Mudavanmughal ward of the town corporation. She has bagged 2,872 votes, 549 quite the rival Congress candidate.
Daughter of CPI(M) activists K Rajendran and Sreelatha, Ms Rajendran has been related to the party from a really young age.
“From the time I remember my childhood, i used to be getting to Balasangham. could also be from round the age of 5. i'm now the State President for Balasangham. i'm also the scholars Federation of India state member . My parents are branch committee members of CPI(M). and that we firmly believe what the party stands for”, Arya Rajendran said.
Balasangham is that the children’s wing of CPI(M) and Students Federation of India and is that the party’s students wing.
Her father is an electrician and mother a LIC agent. She also features a brother.
